WP1 - Cockpit layout

WP1 - Cockpit layout

The first step of the study consists in choosing the vehicle you will work on: either vehicle 1 for local suborbital flights, or vehicle 2 for high-speed long-range suborbital transportation

The study is aiming at definition of tasks distribution between crew (possibly only one people) and vehicle (Man Machine Teaming) and proposition of proceeding cockpit arrangement.

For each flight phase (take-off, climb, descente, landing), define tasks to be done to secure vehicle piloting and decide how to manage them, taking into account that all very-high-speed phases (many kilometers per second) will lead to some automation. This will lead to define a system architecture enabling a safe mission. Propose cockpit arrangement and data to display to crew. Disruptive solutions will be warmly welcomed.
