WP4 - Medicine

aspects médicaux

During a suborbital flight, pilots and passengers are subject to a particular environment and constraints that may be different. You will first choose the type of vehicle you will work on, then:

  • For vehicle number 1 (for local suborbital flights), taking flight duration and altitude reached during a suborbital flight into account, what are the potential real side effects for passengers? Which consequences on their selections?
  • or

  • For vehicle number 2 (for high-speed long-range suborbital flights), what will be the medical consequences of physical constraints linked to a 10,000 kilometer flight inless than two hours? How can they be made compatible with agreed constraints for a current long-range commercial flight?

For this Work Package, a team composed of students in medical university and others in engineering school is encouraged.
